Policies
Aurora Computer Systems Inc. (ACS) has developed a philosophy that assumes the honesty and good intent of our customers. Therefore, we provide our services in as unrestricted a manner as possible. Our goals are your goals. We want to allow our customers to have the most successful web presence possible.
Aurora is pleased to offer all its customers great services and technical support.
The following policies and rules, have been setup in order for us to have good relations with our customers, and to keep our services running smoothly.
Payment
Customer is responsible for making all payments on time.
All Web hosting/maintenance/any charges are due and payable upon receipt, and are delinquent after 14 days and subject to a late charge of
$15.00 on the 15th day at which time the account could be suspended. Although we are not required to do so, a reasonable attempt will be made to contact customer before account is
suspended due to non payment. If an account is suspended (shut off), a $75.00 setup charge is required to reactivate it. If an account is suspended or cancelled due to non-payment the past due amount with applicable late charges is still
due and subject to collection procedures.
Returned checks are subject to a $25.00 charge
Set up fees are not refundable under any circumstances.
Web hosting/maintenance is a monthly arrangement, but is invoiced every three months in order to keep costs down.
Non-Payments: In the event ACS has not receive a payment for services to-be rendered, or already rendered, it reserves the right to refuse providing any kind of support to the customer until payment in full is received.

Source code, HTML scripting, java scripting, techniques, applications, advice and any other electronically devised
applications, methods, techniques always remain the property of the Aurora Computer
Systems, Inc., original developer(s) or supplier(s).
Customers are responsible for all cost of special services in the obtaining of information which includes but not limited to the taking of pictures or the photo coping of important documents.
Inappropriate material will not be tolerated: This includes links or any material referring to the following.
Material that contains nudity,
pornography, adult material, obscenity, discriminatory/hate propaganda,
"warez", hacking-related material, material which promotes the illegal distribution of software, or any material that results in reasonable and legal based complaints from other customers or third parties.
Legal MP3 is acceptable if:
All MP3 on the site is legal
No links are made to outside illegal MP3 archives/websites
It is customer's responsibility to know that the MP3 on his or her website does not violate any policies, laws, rules and regulations, trademarks and copyrights.
If material is found within a customer's account, that is violating any of the policies and rules listed on this page, that customer will be held liable for the content.
Email
Advertising - Email:
Spamming, the sending of unsolicited email or posts, from any server is strictly prohibited. Our servers may not be the source, intermediary, or destination address involved in the transmission of
spam, flames, or mail bombs. Your domain may not be referenced as originator, intermediary, or reply-to address in any of the above. We consider spam any mass unsolicited message in the mediums of Newsgroups and Email. If you are found to have spammed, then we will immediately, without warning, disable your domain. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel service to known
spammers. Furthermore, we consider the selling for bulk email software on a hosted domain a violation of this policy. As such, any violation will result in immediate deactivation of services without refund. ACS will be the sole determiner as to what constitutes a violation of this provision.
Disclaimer
Aurora Computer Systems, Inc. (ACS) cannot be held liable for system downtime, crashes, or data loss. We cannot be held liable for any predicted estimate of profits in which a client would have gained if their site was functioning.
We will make every reasonable attempt to avoid unexpected server downtime and to ensure that all accounts are well taken care of. We cannot guarantee or predict server downtime. Any network problem, or outage, is not covered under any guarantee or warranty and will not be grounds for reimbursement for any subsequent financial damages or losses.
However, at the discretion of ACS, one month of free
hosting will be awarded should your site be down for more
than 5 days. Hosting accounts should not be used for mission critical websites or email.
In order to provide our clients with the most advanced technology, certain services provided by ACS may resold. Thus, certain equipment, routing, software, and programming used by ACS may not be directly owned nor written by
ACS.
We reserve the right to edit these policies without advance notice and reserve the right to remove any account without advanced notice for any reason ACS sees fit.
